Hockey is a fantastically fun game to watch – high energy, fast-paced, and always with the potential for a fight (at least at higher levels). But for newbies, and even for some who have been around the rink a few times, the rules can be confusing. Here are some links that may help you understand what is happening when your child is out there on the ice and what the heck all those arm signals the refs use mean.

There are many videos posted on YouTube that discuss the rules of hockey. I will go through them and point out some that I think are helpful or fun, but, for now, you can see all that is posted there by clicking here.
